As noted in meta for the last page of Chapter 1, we are taking a needed break. At present, I’m not certain exactly how long it will be, but would think that it will be on the order of a couple of months. I was remiss in finishing up some changes in the script for Chapter 2, and did not get the script to James until a month after the planned date. In addition, my wife (and I) are expecting a child to arrive planetside in about two weeks. From prior experience, I know that this new responsibility will cut into other things for a while.

During this interim, I’ll continue to post material to this site on Thursdays (and perhaps other days also). However, there are a few things you could do to help as well.

  1. If you are one of the .5 billion people on Facebook, you could like this site (click the FB logo elsewhere on this page).
  2. If you have already liked this site, you could let your friends know so that they also could follow our regular updates.
  3. You could let us know in the comments what you like/don’t like about the work we’ve done so far and ask any questions you might have about where we go from here.
  4. If you have a website of your own, you could consider linking to us. I’ve included an image at the bottom of this post which you are welcome to copy and use to link back to us.

I’m sure there are other helpful things you could consider doing. If you enjoy and appreciate the work which we’ve done, let us and others know.

Thank you.

Now that we’ve reached a brief breaking point in the publishing process, I am planning to update this site to the most current version of Comic Press. It is likely that some things will be broken from time to time as we go through the update process, but I’ll try to limit the amount of downtime that we have.

It is not likely that I’ll do much to change the layout. However, I do not yet know what further constraints the new version may place on the layout so I’ll simply have to make adjustments as I go.

Until a few minutes ago, we displayed the Recent Referrers (that is, websites which were linking back to us) in the WassUp widget in the upper left-hand corner of the page. Upon discovering that all the recent links were for Russian smut sites, I disabled that functionality. I will see if I can re-enable it–but only after ensuring that we do not receive further WassUp-related spam.

My deepest apologies to any who have clicked one of the recent links, only to find out that it was garbage.
