A piece of James’ original artwork is on eBay for a charity auction. You may be interested in checking it out.
Speaking of checking things out, my daughter has yet to grace us with her presence. It would appear that she prefers the safety and security of the womb to the bright lights and harsh realities of the outside world. Then again, who can blame her? Regardless of her apparent desires, however, it is likely that she’ll be introduced to the rest of the family no later than one week from today.
Continuing our pattern of putting the spotlight on good work in the world of online graphic novels/comics, we shift our attention today to Tozo – the Public Servant. If you are at all familiar with TinTin then the style of artwork will appear quite familiar to you. The setting for the story is a bit sci-fi–in a very genteel fashion, as it were. All in all a well-crafted story though it, like Dark Candle, suffers from weekly rather than daily updates.

My apologies for not updating on Thursday as promised. My wife and I were all but certain that our little girl would be arriving on Thursday (her due date). However, after a night of monitoring at the hospital, it would appear that she is content to wait a bit longer. Meanwhile, I try to get things done around the house in preparation for her arrival–and find that I’m not quite as focused on tasks as is usually the case.
It is unlikely that you’ve not heard of Red’s Planet, considering all of the buzz that Mr. Pittman has been receiving. However, if you find yourself saying “Red’s who?” then cruise on over to check it out. Very nicely executed (and the story is well-put-together).

It will come as no surprise to you that language is something which I enjoy–some might say overmuch. If you’ve not had a chance to check out Nickyitis, today’s well-written strip is a good place to start.
