This is where the controversy begins. Not really, but when we got to this point in the story I took the stance that Sophia was a lot tougher than she might appear at first. Woody pointed out (something to the effect of) a tom-boy attitude was unlikely given the historical setting. I replied with the point that teenage girls have always been creatures of extremes, and that she might very well have whalloped Fernaldo. The art is a bit ambiguous–but we welcome comments.
